How does it work?

With the use of a high pressure pen Hyaluronic Acid is turned into Nano Scale molecules small enough to infuse the treated area, instantly adding volume.

How safe is it?

The Hyaluronic Acid only reaches the papillary layer of the dermis, making it a safe treatment with no risk of occlusion as well as no sharp tips to puncture blood vessels.

How many treatments will I need and how often?

We highly recommend three treatments spaced two weeks apart. Your first treatment will be a foundation treatment. Don't be alarmed when you don't notice a huge difference. This is completely normal. We are unable to give an exact time of how long Hyaluron Injections will last due to how differently everyone metabolizes Hyaluronic Acid. We have seen that most clients want to top off their lips 3-4 times a year and less often after the first year due to an increase in Hyaluronic Acid.

How do I prepare for my first treatment?

It's important to drink plenty of water leading up to the day of your treatment. Avoiding alcohol and blood thinners 48 hours prior to your appointment will help with the possibility of bruising. We highly recommend taking an oral Arnica supplement 4-5 days before to also help with bruising. You can find Arnica at any health food store or in the vitamin isle of your local pharmacy.
